You can now get notified if an album is re-stocked. Just go to the item that is out of stock. Below where it says out of stock, there will be a place to enter your email address. Just enter it and once we get the item back in stock, we’ll email you!

If you’ve been wanting to sample a CD before you bought it, now you can. Most of the CDs that we sell now have music samples that you can listen to before you buy. Just click on any CD that you’re interested in, and on the left side below the images, there is a media player. Click on any of the songs names and they’ll start playing instantly.

Along with the Facebook page that was mentioned in the last post, we’ve just added a links page. All of the links we have going out are for labels and artists that we deal with or are featured on albums we carry. If you’re an artist featured on an album we have in our inventory and want to be linked we’ll be more than happy to add you! Just send us an image (200×40) to link with. We want to keep the links page as uniform as possible.

On top of the standard links, we’ve included links to the myspace pages for as many artists as we could find. We’ll be updating the page often, so if you want to show your appreciation for the people who make all of the amazing music we carry, just check back to see if they have a myspace page you can add! Just like with the other links, if you’re an artist or label owner and we have any connection to you, feel free to contact us and give us your myspace link so we can get you added.

Facebook just launched a new service today that allows you to create business pages to promote your products or website. If you have a Facebook account, you can become a fan of the page and join it.

Once you join, we can send you updates letting you know about new products and re-stocks. Just click the link below and click “Add to my Stores”.

It took us a while, but we’ve finally got a stock update over at mydjsobad. 16 new albums in stock, and restock on 3 sold out albums. Most of this stuff is “new” from Comiket 72, but a handful are items we picked up for the sake of trying to fill in back catalogs from popular labels. We now have every ALiCE’S EMOTiON in print release available, and we’re working on the GABBA DISCO and HARDCORE TANO*C back catalogs as best as we can. Here’s what’s new this time around:

We’re also going to be making heavy changes to the mydjsobad website in the near future, as well as changing up our product line-up. We’ve decided to take a slight shift in our overall focus. These changes will be announced once they’re made, and will likely coincide with another huge announcement we’re planning to make in the next month or 2. Keep an eye out.

As a side note to anyone who may have concerns with our shipping method and costs, we are looking into various options to bring the price down for anyone who isn’t very concerned with speed. Until then, all we will continue to offer is priority shipping both domestically and internationally. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we hope to be able to change it soon.

As many of you who attended bowlmanifest 2007 know, we started up a new venture as a result of several things we’ve had going on since the beginning of the year. ACen 2007, where we hosted DJ CHUCKY, NO+CHIN and M-Project, was the first step to it all.

It was posted that we had a few sales booths there, and ever since then people have been asking when the merchandise we had available therewould be online for everyone who missed out. While you could easily go to roots26.com and order a shirt, there was no 100% english sales website for any of the albums we had available. And the DM Ashura album had only been available at ACen up until recently.

To counteract all of that, and take it one step further we have opened mydjsobad.com, an expanded sales venture with one goal in mind: Make otherwise hard to get items available at a fair price. We’re working closely with several of the bigger J-Core and underground japanese electronic music labels to have an expansive catalog of thier music available to all english speaking territories. We’re also going to have exclusive apparel, hard to get japanese gaming merchandise and collectables, used and new out of print games and systems, and possibly even requested items with a charge much lower than other online specialty importers.

We’re still working on the inventories for the games, and adding much more to the merchandise, but all of the CDs are ready to order with more on the way in the next week or so. We just wanted to give everyone a crack at it all as soon as we could. Expect more updates and big things from this site in the near future.
