Hey everyone, we’re going to run a small contest and the winner gets a free CD or t-shirt of their choice. We are looking for everyone to submit action shots of them with our products. The best/funniest/most creative picture wins a free CD or t-shirt.

Everyone can submit their picture by going to the products page and click on the link that says “Submit an Action Shot.”

All entries must be in by April 3rd and we will pick a winner April 6th.

As many of you know, we sponsored DJ CHUCKY, M-Project and NO+CHIN at Anime Central 2007’s Soap Bubble party. This year we’re coming back and we’re pulling all the stops. On Friday, May 16th 2008 in place of the annual Underground Groove party we’ll be holding HARDCORE SYNERGY, an event featuring some of the most talented Hardcore DJs Japan, the US and the UK have to offer. Our lineup still isn’t 100% finalized with a few more DJs lined up but awaiting confirmation. Currently confirmed to make an appearance are:

As stated, this isn’t necessarily the final lineup. We’re currently talking with a few more artists and as such we won’t release the final schedule until everyone is confirmed. Anyone who attended last year’s Soap Bubble can tell you that the guys from GUHROOVY put on one hell of a show, and with 2 of them confirmed to be coming back, along with a plethora of some of the best that the worldwide hardcore scene has to offer, this is surely an event you won’t want to miss.

Along with the party itself, we’ll have a sales booth at the convention just like last year. We’re currently toying around with ideas for some exclusive merchandise and new items to debut at the event, as well as building our inventory up for all of you who’d prefer to buy from us in person. Other events are still being worked out and will be announced once we have a solid plan. The convention is only 2 months away though, so expect more news to roll out pretty frequently up until the convention itself.

So we’ve been saying it’s coming for almost a month now and it’s finally here. Today we rolled out a stock update that makes all currently in print or last of stock releases from several labels available for purchase. Among these labels are:

As a result of this update, more than 20 new items have been added to our inventory. You may notice a slight price jump in some of the releases we got in, this has to do more with how weak the american dollar has been lately. We got far less product this time around for the amount of money we paid than we would have a few months ago. We’re still striving to keep costs as low as possible for you guys, so as a result we’ve made the price increases as minimal as we realistically could. Please bear with us on this matter, prices will only go down from here.

In March we’re gonna be rolling out with a bunch of new releases (keep an eye on the music blog for them) and heavily restocking on several other labels to get ready for Anime Central 2008. Keep checking back as we make more announcements.

To get things ready for all of the inventory updates we’re gonna be seeing, and make the shopping experience more pleasant for you all. Today saw most of the more significant changes we’ll be implementing over the next couple of months. The most noticable of the changes today can be seen on the product category pages. We’ve changed it all up to make searching a bit easier, as well as show more details on each album and make ordering from the product listing page possible.

We’ve also made it more clear if an album is In Stock, Out of Stock or Out of Print. With out upcoming stock update we’ll be adding listings of “Last of Stock” items, which means once we’re out of them there won’t be anymore unless a reprint happens or by some odd occurance we stumble onto a few more copies. Either way means an extremely limited amount available.

We have a lot more planned, this is just the tip of the iceberg. As usual we’ll post whenever anything happens. If you have any suggestions for stuff we can add or change feel free to leave a comment.

It’s been several months since we really had much going on here. There have been a lot of factors to this, and as of now all of these have been worked out. After sitting down and doing some much needed planning, we came up with a solid stock plan for the coming months, as well as started getting the ball rolling towards Anime Central 2008.

We’re gonna kick this off with a huge surge of new products to our catalog, from as many labels as we can. This isn’t going to happen all at once, it’ll probably take us 2 or 3 more orders to fill in our existing labels. This includes stock of all previous releases that are still available as well as new releases. For the month of February we have the following labels coming in:

So keep an eye out, there’s gonna be a lot of new stuff coming in from now until May when Anime Central hits. Speaking of ACen, we have a TON of stuff planned for this year to follow up on the great show put on by DJ CHUCKY, NO+CHIN and M-Project last year. We’re not quite ready to announce who or what we have lined up, but it’s coming soon. We can promise you that if you’re a fan of Japanese Hardcore you WILL NOT want to miss ACen this year, not even for any other event. Expect to hear more in the coming weeks as everything is finalized.
