First of all, let us start by saying thanks for everyone who made it out to Anime Central 2011 and showed their support. The party was easily the biggest and most successful yet, and we’ll for sure be back for an even bigger even in 2012. Hopefully we’ll be able to announce much earlier for next year so everyone can plan to attend.

As for the shop and updates to it, we’ll be reopening with the existing inventory along with some new albums from Allkore, NoKore, RDC Records, and others within the next week. We’re currently waiting for all inventory to get back to our office in California from Chicago. We’ll be adding more new items in the near future once we have our budgets worked out and situated. We’re also in the process of putting together a preorder system for future M3, Comiket and other significant release dates so you all can secure your copies of the CDs at the same low costs we’ve always tried to offer, with more convenient shipping options.

Keep an eye out for developments within the week, and thanks again to everyone who made it out to ACen to hang with us!

HARDCORE SYNERGY @ Anime Central 2011 ANNOUNCED!

We’re a bit late with the announcements this year due to so much going on on our end, but we’re officially announcing HARDCORE SYNERGY 2011 at Anime Central in Rosemont, IL! Starting Friday May 21, 2011 @ 9:00pm in the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Ballroom (same location as last year), we’re throwing the party in a bit of a different direction than the previous few years. In an effort to promote the best talent in the Japanese Hardcore and Underground Electronic Music scene we’re bringing out DJs spanning several genres and labels, many of which are new to the HARDCORE SYNERGY family.

The first release from US Makina label Makinaforce Recordings is going to be dropping soon! Featuring tracks by M-Project and DJ Technetium as well as other top Makina producers from around the world, this looks like an explosive debut from what hopefully becomes a mainstay label in the makina scene!

We did the final bit of testing for the shop itself this morning, and rather than keep everything unannounced until we finish things up like samples and smaller features, we wanted to let you all know that you now can place orders on the shop and shipping will begin tomorrow (Monday, Dec. 13, 2010)! Over the course of the week we’ll be posting smaller updates letting you know which labels we’ve added samples for, what new features have been opened up, and some more details on upcoming promotions. Currently we only accept paypal due to conflict with our merchant service provider, we will be finding another solution soon.

Also, as promised, all items in the shop are 10% off from now until the end of January!

The navigation is pretty straight forward, Artists allows you to search for albums produced or mixed by the artist in question, and labels displays all albums in a particular label. The search bar will also show things on an album level (catalog number, label, album name, artist). Soon we’ll be adding the functionality to search for individual songs on an album or artists that have tracks featured on an album.
